Produce Market

Walked to the main street for breakfast on our way to the produce market. Had some more of the breakfast sandwiches, i am getting quite attached to my morning sandwich. This was of the ham and tomato variety. My first asian market experience was exciting, smelly and made me really hungry. Lots of new sights, smells and sounds. There are some very interesting looking vegetables and fruits here. The carrots here are short but are really fat.

We took our fresh foods home and prepared for lunch. Had some squid, chicken and had my first taste of bitter melon. Watched the news and heard about the Typhoons blowing and and then watched the Taiwanese equivalent of american idol, i think. Had a dinner of Laa (little clams with peppers that taste like pepperoni) and some more fish ball soup.
